Refund Policy

Policy v1 Effective 2026-07-20 · Public Preview

Veizik is a local runtime — it runs on your own GPU, and the free tier exists so you can verify it runs on your hardware before paying anything. This policy covers what happens when a paid subscription doesn't work out.

Plain-English summary

If it's your first subscription, you're within 7 days of purchase, and the experimental sample-render path (veizik t2v, run on your own machine per the README) fails to run on a supported environment (Internal Verified or Experimental), send us a diagnostic report and you get a full refund. Renewal charges are not refundable except where the law requires. Refunds are processed through Polar, our Merchant of Record. We decide within 5 business days of a complete request.

1When a refund is available

A full refund of your first subscription payment is available when all of the following are true:

First subscription. The charge is the first payment of your first Veizik subscription (any plan purchased through our checkout).
Within 7 days. Your refund request reaches us within 7 calendar days of the purchase.
Supported environment. You are running Veizik on an environment we list as Internal Verified or Experimental (see section 2).
The sample render fails to run. The experimental sample-render path (veizik t2v) fails to execute on that environment — not "the output isn't to my taste," but the runtime failing to produce a result. Note it requires your own torch/diffusers environment (Linux + NVIDIA), as documented.
Diagnostic report submitted. You include a diagnostic report with your request: the output of veizik doctor and the log of the failing run.

Subjective dissatisfaction with generated output, render speed on hardware below the supported class, or use outside the supported environments are not covered by this condition. That's exactly why the free tier exists — please verify on your GPU before subscribing.

2Environment coverage

Refund eligibility under section 1 depends on where you run Veizik. Our support labels are honest: Internal Verified means measured on our own hardware (internal benchmark — no third-party verification yet), Experimental means it is expected to work but is less exercised, and Waitlist means not released.

Refund eligibility by environment, Policy v1. "Internal Verified" reflects internal benchmarks only; no external reproduction data exists yet (Public Preview).

3Renewal payments

Renewal charges are not refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. The §1 refund condition applies to the first payment of your first subscription only.

To avoid an unwanted renewal, cancel before your billing period renews. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep access until then. Cancelling is not the same as requesting a refund.

4How to request a refund

Email support@veizik.comFrom the email address on your Veizik account. Include your order reference (from the Polar receipt) and, for a §1 request, the diagnostic report: veizik doctor output plus the failing run log.
We confirm receiptYou get an acknowledgment that your request and materials arrived. If the diagnostic report is incomplete, we'll tell you what's missing — the 5-business-day clock starts when the request is complete.
Decision within 5 business daysWe review the report against the §1 conditions and reply with an approval or a reasoned decline within 5 business days of a complete request.
Refund issued via PolarApproved refunds are processed through Polar, our Merchant of Record, back to your original payment method. Polar handles the payment mechanics and applicable tax adjustments.
Receipt by emailYou receive a refund receipt by email once Polar has processed it. How quickly the money appears on your statement depends on your payment provider.

5Billing context

Paid checkout is hosted by Polar (Merchant of Record) in USD, with tax handled at checkout. The only plan that will be offered at billing launch is Founding Creator ($9/mo, first 100 subscribers). Billing has not opened yet — reservations collect no payment, so no refunds can arise before your first charge; this policy applies from that first charge. Future tiers (Pro / Studio) are not purchasable.

Subscription cancellation: you can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Policy version. This is Refund Policy v1, published during Public Preview. If we revise it, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date; the version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
